Both the Hitman Absolution website and GameStop website advertise a code for the Hitman Sniper Challenge, but there was. Exception code: 0xc0000005. Also, I am not envious of those who excel at whatever they do. Most Excel Exception Code 0xc0000005 errors are due to damaged files in a Windows operating system. Windows system file entry corruption is a serious matter, as it often means a malfunction that may pose a major security risk. Microsoft Excel has stopped working. Microsoft Word has stopped working. Microsoft Outlook has stopped working. Microsoft PowerPoint has stopped working. Hi Friends, Like you, I faced this problem after I upgraded my MS Office 2010 to MS Office 2013 and spent plenty amount of hours trying to fix it. YES IT'S FRUSTRATED! Anonymous Hi Jo, none worked for me. Here is my problem. I have a macro that exports a worksheet as pdf. Code is working perfect for 2007, 2010 but creating problem in 2013. I ran the code in debug mode. Everything is fine but as soon as the below line is executed. It says Excel has stopped working: sht_Output.ExportAsFixedFormat xlTypePDF, sItem & '/' & filename, xlQualityStandard I am not sure what the problem is. I am able to export as pdf manually but the VBA in excel 2013 is giving that error. I will highly appreciate a solution to this problem. Thanks in advance. Anonymous Hi Joe, The reason i am using a macro to save sheet as pdf is because i have a report with Emp Name, Address, phone No etc details. This report is being produced for n no of employees. Details of these n employees are stored in a separate sheet (say data_sheet). My macro basically copies the data from data_sheet and pastes them in report and then save the report as pdf. This is an automatic process to generate pdf reports for all employees and works great in excel 2007, 2010. Need help to do this in excel 2013 statement that i am using is: sht_Output.ExportAsFixedFormat xlTypePDF, sItem & '/' & filename, xlQualityStandard I am not sure what the problem is. I am able to export as pdf manually but the VBA in excel 2013 is giving that error. I will highly appreciate a solution to this problem. Thanks in advance:((. Anonymous I should just add my remarks to help others since my conclusions are definitive. The Control Panel repair (local or online) didn't do anything except force me to find my license keys. Fix 1a worked for me, since installing my Epson printer is apparently what caused the ABBYY software to be installed. This included the 'COM add-in' for Office 2013, and that is what broke things. It broke, unbeknownst to me, after I installed the printer. I did not need to uninstall the software, only disable (uncheck) the add-in from the Options in BOTH programs while in /safe mode, and then I could run Word and Excel normally without incident. Thanks for the help, OP!! Anonymous I had this problem and none of the above worked for me. Didn't have any of the offending add-ons and disabling hardware acceleration didn't fix it. But Word/Excel had been working fine until sometime recently when they suddenly stopped working. So I did a system restore back to a restore point prior to a recent Windows 'critical update' and voila, everything works again! How in the name of everything sacred Microsoft can get away with releasing products as fragile and poorly engineered as this defeats me. I am so grateful my other computer is an Apple Mac!! Hi all, I know this post is more than likely late but for anyone else receiving the dreaded Outlook has stopped working error (Office365 / outlook 2013). Just to mention, I have just about tried all the solutions there are to fix this issue to no avail and I am not even going to mention all the solutions as there are plenty. In case you feel that you have also exhausted all options, please continue reading|: Firstly my issue was caused due to a bad.dll file in c: Windows system32 folder, more specifically the uiAutomationCore.DLL file. My computer had some bad clusters on the hard drive and after running chkdsk /r I noted that the above file in question was located at that bad cluster. So after windows marked the bad clusters as 'BAD' and not to use them anymore, I copied the uiAutomationCore.DLL form another computer with the same specs and same OS (Windows 7) and replaced my corrupted one with the copied one. Guess what, no more Outlook App crashes. Please note that should you take this advice and ruin your computer in the process, it is totally at your own risk. It worked for me though.
